金閣寺-Kinkaku-ji temple
Kinkaku-ji temple was built in 1397 as a villa for Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, and is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1994. Kinkaku means Golden Pavilion. It was burned down to the ground in 1950, however the extract reproduction of the original building was completed. It is extremely beautiful, and tremendously elegant.
金閣寺は1397年に将軍、足利義満の邸宅として建てられました。1994年より世界遺産に登録されました。1950年に全焼してしまいましたが、忠実に再建されています。非常に美しく優雅です。
