グラバー邸-Glover Garden
Glover Garden is named for Thomas Blake Glover, a Scottish merchant who came to Nagasaki in 1859 during the period of national isolation. The garden features the western style homes, including Glover House. It is also known as the "Madame Butterfly House.
グラバー園は鎖国が行われていた1859年に長崎を訪れたスコットランドの商人、トーマス・ブレーク・グラバーの名前にちなんでいます。園内にはグラバー住宅など洋風建築があり、オペラ「蝶々夫人」でも知られるところです。
グラバー邸は幕末長崎SIMにあります。
